Trump, America and prayer
Indeed, it is encouraging news that President Donald Trump of the United States has declared a National Day of Prayer to combat the coronavirus outbreak. He asked American citizens to pray wherever they are and to turn to prayer in an act of faith. Listen to him: “We are a country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these. Together, we easily PREVAIL!” Yeah, this guy will always say that he wants America to be great again, and I’m happy he’s taking the right step to get there. When was the last time an American president spoke or behaved like this? Speaking of national prayer? Do you remind citizens of America’s history of divine protection and strength? Definitely not recently. Look at your policies on Israel; a sharp departure from the hostile stance of the previous regime. Obama was doing everything he could to humiliate Israel, while economically and militarily empowering his enemies. I added militarily because those countries were using the huge money they were getting to secretly and deceptively promote their military, terrorist and nuclear ambition. He was practically pushing the Jews against the wall. And you know what that can turn out to be.
But this is a country that was founded on biblical principles. It has God enshrined in its currency, motto, hymn and the president and officials take the oath of office with the Bible. In fact, almost all of the Founding Fathers of America were full of spirit and were even tongues-speaking Christians. But things changed afterwards. The very America of God became a leader in everything that was against God, from the worship of Satan and immorality to total rebellion against the existence and authority of God. You already know that it houses the headquarters of most occult groups, including the Church of Satan. It is the main propagator of immoral activities such as same-sex relationships, single motherhood, abortion, etc. They believe in total “freedom”, even when the matter is contrary to the word of God. In fact, it is no secret that the pre-Trump administration invested everything to entice and coerce other governments and institutions to legalize same-sex marriages. Thank goodness some sane people, like African leaders, rejected it and rejected it. I remember that the Nigerians, Ghanaians and Kenyans told Obama to die, to go to hell with the promised aid and the immoral and demonic suggestion. In fact, it was a great embarrassment to the so-called Country of God!
It is heartwarming and heartwarming that a president of the United States is asking for a national prayer today. It’s a good reboot and I think God is about to take that country to even greater heights. It is true that lasting prosperity, victory, and security can only come from God; the creator of all things. For the coronavirus epidemic and other problems, the solutions are already coming. Prayer is a good start. I remember when the Israelites were dying from snakebites in the desert, Moses prayed and God healed and stopped the problem. When the angel of death was killing people due to disobedience in taking the census against God’s instructions, the great King David prayed and God called the angel. When three nations came against Judah, Jehoshaphat declared fasting and national prayer and God went to war himself and his enemies committed suicide. When the death of all Jews was decreed, Esther asked Mordecai and all Jews to fast and pray, and God miraculously turned the tables on their enemies. Haman, his sons, and all his enemies died. And do you remember the plagues in Egypt? Pharaoh always asked Moses and Aaron to go and pray to their God to remove the plagues. Yes, as in Egypt, all these diseases, viruses, natural disasters, attacks and wars come today because of our disobedience to the word of God. If we return to him as America is doing now, then he will remove them and restore us. But if there are no more serious problems, diseases and disasters are sure to come!
For Trump to recognize that America’s strength, prosperity, protection and healing come from God is truly refreshing and should make all citizens celebrate. With his job creation, foreign policies, salary increases for military and security budgets, trade defense and actions against enemies, Donald Trump is already writing his name in gold and may come out as one of the best presidents in the history of America. .
