Radiant Being – 200-Hour Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training

In addition to the required yoga asana (pose) classes and readings, you will spend ample time on your own at home practicing a variety of postures. This helps you to strengthen your focus, develop better self-awareness and enhances your ability to communicate. The skills you learn will translate into a more mindful, grounded and connected life outside of the yoga studio.

During the program you will explore Hatha Yoga- a dynamic form of Yoga that focuses on alignment and intelligent sequencing to create safety, stability, flexibility and freedom. You will also be introduced to a wide range of yogic philosophies and practices, including: the Upanishads, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the five elements, the kleshas, Ayurveda, the Enneagram, and the chakra system.

Throughout the training you will be expected to keep a daily journal, logging your asana, meditation and pranayama practices. You will also be required to write a weekly essay on topics based on content you have read, yoga classes you have attended and your experiences on your journey so far. This will help you to reflect and grow from the knowledge you gain during the course, whilst also developing your own personal style of teaching.
