A tough decision to make: the Keurig B70 Platinum and Keurig B40 Elite coffee maker

Which prefer? Instant coffee from coffee shops or homemade coffee? Well, I prefer to have the convenience of making instant coffee at home. This is what is happening to me right now. I rush to work and have a quick cup from the cafeteria in front of my office every morning. The problem is that the long lines are causing the quality of the coffee to deteriorate and there is no sign of reducing the price. In fact, this is bad news for me, since I don’t have a high salary to begin with.

Since then, I decided to make my own coffee at my convenience. No more queues, no more bad coffee you can’t control. I read and found great reviews about the Keurig B40 machine that makes only one cup of gourmet coffee at a time. This is perfect since I am left alone. On top of that, K-Cups were much more affordable than commercial coffee and I have over 200 cocoa, tea, and coffee blends to choose from. The B40 is the most affordable coffee maker in the range I want and I can choose between 2 different cup sizes each time I brew a cup.

Since I liked the design of the B40, I did more research to find equivalent Keurig models. The Keurig B70 Platinum particularly caught my eye with its blue-backlit LCD screen. I knew for sure that this coffee machine had more functions. In addition to the features the B40 has, the B70 ships with a larger water reservoir (also with blue backlight), which means making more cups without refilling. There are also 5 different coffee cup sizes to choose from. Of course, this coffee machine had a higher price.

Although I was divided between these models, I finally took the B40 after a careful evaluation between price and features. It was a tough fight, but I knew I made the right decision.
