Recommended Restaurants for Business Meetings

You will never run out of food options in Thailand. It is one of those countries that promise 10 pounds in three days. In fact, you don’t even need restaurants. You can practically walk down the street and chances are you’ll find something that satisfies your cravings. However, if you’re looking for a meal and a place where you can talk business, you won’t find that in every restaurant.

Below is a list of restaurants worth visiting for business meetings.

eastern mandarin

There are eight restaurants within the hotel. If you want to go French, check out Le Normandie. The China House specializes in Chinese cuisine. They also offer other Asian food. If you want some seafood head to Lord Jim’s and The Verandah if all you want is coffee and some pastries. Their house blend is good enough, but they also serve cold brew coffee. You can also try the Riverside Terrace BBQ if you want to feel at home. If you want authentic Thai cuisine, Sala Rim Naam Thai Restaurant is where you’ll find it. You can also stay outside and soak up the sun on the Rim Naam and Ciao Terrace. Lastly, if you want to have a few drinks, try Afternoon Tea and The Bamboo Bar.

madison

Located in the Four Seasons Hotel, you will find the best steaks in Bangkok at this restaurant. They also offer Asian cuisine. You might want to start with the bread that is served fresh out of the oven.

It doesn’t have a very good view, but the interior gives it a very subdued aura. The place is relatively quiet and the spaces between tables allow for free conversation.

kuppa

The place is just one of the most spacious restaurants you will ever find. The floor-to-ceiling windows also give the place a more “open” feel that can really relax guests. This place is especially recommended if you happen to be with an Aussie. It is owned by a Thai and an Australian and you will see that is evident on their menu. They offer Australian beef and traditional Thai food.

blue elephant

If you are in the Sathorn area, Blue Elephant is the best restaurant for business meetings around. Not only will you get great food, but the place itself can serve as an icebreaker due to the history of the building. It is over a hundred years old and is also a cooking school. The restaurant did well to incorporate the nostalgic touch they have by having dishes like Forgotten Recipes.

Calderazzo and Ugolini

If you ever find out you’re meeting someone who wants Italian food, take them here at Caderrazzo & Ugolini. Their food is up to par with Italian restaurant dishes. They also have the best wine selection in all of Chidlom.

tapas cafe

As its name suggests, the restaurant offers Spanish cuisine and there is nothing better than tapas. The place itself looks and feels more homey than other restaurants. The service is the same as you’ll get at 5-star hotel restaurants, but the atmosphere feels more casual. I would also suggest ordering right away because it takes them some time to cook the Tappas. You may be able to finish your meeting before you arrive.
