On the call, creativity and lessons of bees

mediated economy

We learn from the unique approach of bees to achieve a goal. They work in a community that shares a common goal. The support system is such that one bee dances in sync with every other bee in the swarm. Each bee drives the wind under the wings of another.

From the dance of the bees we can appreciate how easy it is to become more ourselves if we are exposed to individuals who share the same constitution and vision. We absorb into our system any energy to which we are exposed. This is how the realization of dreams happens drastically and safely.

In the process, it is wise to be aware of our tendency to associate with individuals, concepts, companies that lead us astray. As the bees dance, they buzz their way to the flowers. Every possible move is energized, directed, and decisive. Each bee is an important part of the swarm. The Spiritual Politics in its discussion of the cosmic causes of world events, mentions that “…all life can be seen as expressions of different frequencies of cosmic energy, called “ray” energies. These rays represent different aspects or frequencies that in their totality they make up all the divine aspects of God – the only basic energy in the universe. These rays also influence and condition individual personalities and soul energies. Every type of human activity and institution expresses various ray qualities. Long cycles of activity and entire civilizations are governed by the incoming and outgoing rays that condition life.” Spiritual Policy Ch9, pp 269-270.

Instilling teamwork in the company requires the identification of a common vision, a mission statement that gives meaning to the daily actions of the people who make up the team. While they are their own person, living creatively in the various facets of their existence as part of the team, they are driven by a common vision. A definite purpose empowers them. A unifying meaning enriches your work life.

This is possibly the most ideal metaphor for instilling inspiration and productivity in the team. Hire only those whose core values and basic definitions resonate with those of the team. If I am running a language school, I will not hire a bad communicator no matter how nice this person may be. And if my school is involved in outreach programs that teach not only communication but also values, morality, and well-being, I won’t even waste time interviewing someone with questionable social standing and alternative moral definitions.

A team that performs tasks in a synchronized rhythm doesn’t require a manager or even an owner stepping on its neck. Like the queen bee that stays in the colony to mate and co-create while the worker bees do what they need to do, the organization and/or team leader must be able to focus on tasks that benefit the entire team and any one of them. its members. team members without making any member feel biased, unmotivated, overnourished, emasculated. The leader is the most productive member because he is the unifying force. He is the amplifier that keeps the music reverberating. His presence inspires the team to constantly expand its potential. His actions inspire each member to exceed expectations. His words soothe daily stress and minor frustrations. The leader, like the queen bee, gives life to the bee colony that knows its functions and delights in the performance of individual and community duties. On an individual level, there are probably 101 lessons we can learn from bees. One is intrinsic motivation drawn from knowing oneself. (Mihalyi Czikzentmihalyi, FLOW) A person who has clearly identified his mission in life and his calling is motivated to explore the opportunities available to him. He does not give up easily because for him the end justifies the means. Pains and disappointments are transformed into advantages. The power of self-knowledge gives you the clarity of thought to identify a daily goal and pursue his dreams.

Inspiration is drawn from the self. Someone who appreciates himself and what he is capable of becoming reflects such an energizing vibration into his world. The world, in turn, reflects that positive vibe back to you. And when your core resonates with whatever and whoever is around you, work becomes joy, life bliss. A bee’s unique approach allows it to complement the swarm as they buzz towards the flowers. When a person applies the purposeful, directed, purposeful approach of the bee to his work, he becomes his own person: creative, free, productive, capable of living meaningfully.

In short, know yourself. The problem in some cases is that we tend to compromise our core values and beliefs to satisfy the requirements of a group or company whose direction runs counter to ours. Once we lose our sense of identity, our self-defined priorities, we lose everything. And even the right situations won’t work out despite our best intentions.

CREATIVITY IN THE CALL

One’s calling, when accepted, leads to the most amazing achievements. Geniuses from different arenas have one thing in common. The moment they discovered their strength, they gave all their energy and devotion to stretching the limits. The limits of the moment are stretched, creativity flows. When creativity flows, the miracle happens. And then the whole world is amazed.

An economics professor once advised us, “build on your strengths.” True, as soon as they were able to perform the tasks they were supposed to do, the bees became relentless. An artist, writer, actor, engineer, doctor or any professional must recognize his strengths, and only when he does so can he become an expert in his field. After one goes through the self-assessment process, he follows his heart; and in his choice of vocation, he creates another field in which he becomes a pioneer in his own right. This moment, once achieved, is evident in the way viewers stand in awe as the creator/actor dances to his play. In fact, we are all co-creators of life, even of another dimension of life.

Bees do not seem to waste time on tasks that do not concern their main vocation. They do not deviate. And yet, who can say that his life is boring? Work is a game for someone who has found their niche and knows in their mind and heart that they are constantly contributing and co-creating in the world around them. “Until one commits, there is hesitancy, the possibility of backtracking, always ineffectiveness. With regard to all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one elementary truth, ignorance of which kills innumerable splendid ideas and plans: that the moment you one definitely commits oneself, then Providence also moves in. All kinds of things happen to help one that otherwise would never have happened. A whole stream of events follows from the decision, arousing in one’s favor all kinds of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed of, would have come his way”. murray

DISINTERRUPTION IN CREATIVITY

We are all artists. We have been given unique gifts. And every time our hearts and minds work together, we become more human, more integrated, more creative, more meaningful contributors of meaning to the world. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi in his book Creativity wrote: “…the trends certainly do not suggest that creative individuals are inevitably interested and involved in the world around them and are willing to pay a high price for their beliefs. But these accounts They refute the often express the opposite conclusion, that exceptional artists and scientists are too selfish, too engrossed in their work, to care too much about what’s going on in the rest of the world political problems that the rest of us are only too happy about. leave alone”. Creativity p. 203, Mr. Csikszentmihalyi

As one expands their potentials, they broaden their horizons. As she discovers his strengths, she strengthens his resolve. As you find your voice and use it, you strengthen your community.

The lifespan of bees is sadly short but amazingly valuable. As they enrich their existence with worthwhile actions, they pass down a proud legacy to the next generation of bees. I remember a cliché of the Salesian nuns, “Flower where you are planted”. Up to this point, I have thought that line is trivial. As I learn about bees, the line becomes meaningful. Living as dignified human beings is not that difficult. Being excellent in everything we do is our vocation. Opportunities will always knock on our doors. Success defines the story of every man, as soon as he begins to recognize his inherent worth, his relationship to the world and everything else he is capable of becoming.

Success has been achieved by one who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much, who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men, and the love of little children, who has filled his niche and fulfilled his task. , who has left the world better than it found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul, who has never stopped appreciating the beauty of the Earth and has never stopped expressing it, who has always sought the better in others and has given them the best he had, whose life was an inspiration, whose memory a blessing. -Bessie Anderson Stanley
