How to join the Pakistan Army

Joining the military after a master’s degree

Even if you have some level of education, that doesn’t mean you can’t get into the Pakistan Army. You can join the army as a captain or major. To qualify for the position, you must not be older than 28 years. You must also meet the minimum physical requirements: if you are a man, you must be no less than 162.5 cm tall. If you are female, you must be over 157.5 cm tall.

Joining the Army after BA, BSC

In addition to meeting the minimum physical requirements, you must also have obtained at least 50% marks on your graduation exam and a minimum of 60% marks on the Fsc and Fa exams. You must be between 17-21 years of age and have Fsc (pre medical) with a minimum of 70% marks. You must also have a minimum of a C in biology, chemistry, and physics.

Eligibility conditions

While different entry levels have different conditions, there are some requirements that are universal. One of the universal requirements that you must meet is the minimum height requirements of 5.4″ for men and 5.4″ for women. You must also be of sound mind.

Ineligibility for military jobs

You are said to be ineligible for Pak Army jobs if you meet these conditions:

  • Has been rejected twice by the ISSB/GHQ Selection and Review Board

How to Apply for Army Jobs in Pakistan

You can apply for the positions online where you need to visit the Pakistan Army official website. You can also apply offline when you need to visit Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RC). After the applications are submitted, the board will review the applications and contact the shortlisted candidates. You will be subjected to both physical and intelligence or personality tests. When it comes to physical tests, you’ll be subject to runs, push-ups, sit-ups, ditching, and pull-ups. For personality tests, you will be asked general questions involving your area of ​​study.
