Cat – Sleeps and plays

Besides the sloth, a cat spends more time sleeping than any other animal. He has a solitary lifestyle with hectic periods of hunting and gambling.

A cat can spend up to 16 hours a day sleeping. In nature, this can increase to 20 hours. Waking periods are very active and require a cat to conserve energy by sleeping. Their diet is rich in protein and does not require long feeding time to maintain their strength.

During his waking hours, he is playful but not necessarily sociable. It does not adapt well to change. He is shy and anxious around humans and must earn their trust before interacting. He likes to sleep next to a warm body, which is a way of gaining confidence. Forcing it on another animal or human can increase their mistrust. Children who want to pick it up and play with it can create anxiety and cause it to react by scratching or biting them.

Since he doesn’t like change, grooming, feeding, and playing with him at the same time every day will increase his sense of security. When playing, using a variety of toys will keep her interested. Playing creates excitement and provides exercise. Catnip and laser toys are very popular. Christmas wrapping paper, ribbons, and gift boxes also make good toys.

A cat can sense human moods when spoken to. You can learn up to 20 different words, including your name. It will begin to read human body language in the same way that it does with other cats. It will respond with different sounds to the conversation.
