Demon King Daimao Review – A good harem anime in 2010

Demon King Daimao gold Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (in Japanese) is a good harem anime. It’s safe to say that the enjoyment of this anime can be inversely proportional to the amount of plot put into a single episode. Simply, the more argument, the less fun. As a harem anime, it doesn’t exist to focus on the brain. You should know that if you are going to watch this anime, you are watching it to laugh a lot and also to smile a little. You will like the battle scenes and you will never learn the names of the characters as they refer to them by hair color.

History

This anime starts off pretty strong for me, it’s fun, it has a lot of pacing, the characters are interesting, and while there are hints of being a bit generic at times in the first few episodes, I fired them because everything else was fine.

The introduction begins in a train station, the main protagonist, Sai Akuto, gets on the train to his new school with the expectation of becoming a priest, although his dreams will turn out to be completely wrong.

Artwork

The art was a bit too simple. It seemed like the fluidity and movement were really nice, but left more to be desired when someone wasn’t kicking butt. If you were to compare this to other assorted harem anime, it just doesn’t seem to be much different visually. But that’s okay. It has incredible battle scenes.

Sound

Aki Toyosaki does an amazing job as Soga Keena, but if you don’t like it, I suggest you turn off the volume, she will spend a lot of time in front of the screen and talk a lot. Aoi Yuuki also had an excellent voice. He voiced a monotonous character, but did a good job of making it not sound so monotonous. He really had no affection for the OP or even the ED. But they were perfectly suited to a harem anime, and maybe you like them because music can be a developed taste.

Characters

The main cast is a palette of fun. Everyone has a different and unique hair color. dere so they are easy to differentiate. That’s where harem anime has a lot of trouble. A harem offers established archetypal characters and will not create an original lovable woman. I’m not saying that no woman in this anime is misspelled. Each one is written with their personality in mind, but they never stray from what the book says. Red is hollow head, blue is tsundere, Purple is a masochist and Green has no emotions. Each of them can be summed up in one word.

Enjoyment

Despite the numerous things that go against this anime, you will find many moments where you will laugh seriously. I enjoyed an excellent portion of this anime. The only problem I really had was with the plot. But that’s okay! I remembered that it was a harem anime and anyone who doesn’t remember this main factor should try to understand that a bit of brainless humor is great from time to time.
